Poor health is our main topic in this blog post. This issue is caused because the income inquality that affects countries around the world and also the lack of services that are provided to poor people. Dhruv Khullar and Dave A. Chokshi, who are important important investigators and doctors in the US, say in their article and investigation published in Health Affairs, that “less than one-hird of low-income workers obtain health insurance through their employer, compared to nearly 60 percent of higher-income workers. Even after implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), more than twenty seven-million Americans remain uninsured—the majority of whom are low-income people”.
